Summer is hot…how to keep cool. Focus on these four poses to keep calm and cool.

Sitali and Sitkari breath: cooling breaths.

A simple forward fold with a reach and stretch up with an inhale then hinging forward, taking your time to exhale.

Low lunge Anjaneyasana helps lengthen the torso, open the heart, and stretches the hips. You can modify from hips over the kneeling knee to a deeper lunge. Lifting the arms high reaching up with a slight backbend can open the lungs.

Savasana can be relaxing and rejuvenating which is what our bodies and minds need during the hot days of summer. Placing a cool towel on your forehead can cool you even more.
