A day in the life on a Vital Journey

Imagine waking up with the sunrise in your very own cozy sleeping pod, and when you open your eyes, you see trees and sky in every direction.

Greet the wildflowers along the walking path as you head to a silent mindfulness practice, where you’ll start your day by anchoring yourself in your senses and the beautiful valley that River Mountain calls home

Fill up your water bottle with lemon-infused spring water and head to CrossFit. Coach Marco greets you with a zest-filled, “Good morning, I’m glad you’re here! Let’s go, team!” For the next hour, you experience a workout designed to keep you vibrant and strong throughout your life. You have fun and even a few laughs with your fellow retreat-goers while you challenge yourself in new ways!

You enjoy a fresh and nutritious breakfast and a coffee or tea while watching the trees on the mountainside sway in a peaceful morning breeze. You’re feeling awake and inspired by CrossFit and ready to embark on another exciting day of breathwork and connection. 

After breakfast and a shower, you head to the barn for your Transpersonal Breathwork journey in a space created with care and intention by a team of experienced breathwork facilitators. Every breathwork experience is different, and you are open to whatever you’ll discover on your journey today.

After your journey, you savor a delicious lunch prepared by the caring hands of the head chef at River Mountain. You reflect on your breathwork experience and then spend valuable time in circle with your fellow journeyers to share what you’d like about your experience and witness the healing journeys of others.

Your afternoon is spent in rest and integration with options to be among the trees in Hammock Hideaway, cool off in Sweetroot Creek, or meet the locals (our bee friends!) at the Hive Tour and Honey Tasting led by resident Master Beekeeper, Darci, whose knowledge and care of bees is genuinely captivating.

Before dinner, join Meg for a yoga and movement class designed to support the breathwork journey. You’ll find ways to breathe and move your body so you feel brighter, steadier, and more inspired. 

Unwind at dinner in the company of your new-found friends, and share stories of your lives, what matters to you, and make connections that could positively impact you for years to come.

And no evening would be complete without a campfire, roasting marshmallows, and more connection with friends and nature, under a blanket of stars and the moon. You find your gratitude cup overflows after a beautiful day, crawl into your sleeping nook, and fall asleep under the light of the stunning full moon.
